Following our Choral Evensong in October 2010, we have been invited back to Chichester Cathedral, this time to sing for a weekend after Easter in 2012. This time we will be staying in Chichester to give you a chance to explore the historic city and surrounding areas so put the dates in your diary now: Friday 13th – Sunday 15th April 2012.
Information for Choir members
Last updated Tuesday 10th April
The music booklet containing much of the service music (excluding canticles and anthems) is available to view here…
For those of us travelling from Canterbury on Friday, please meet at Church at 10.00am. This will give us plenty of time to sort out car sharing, pick up robes, load music into cars and anything else that needs to be done. I’m aiming for us to arrive in Chichester at 1pm so that there is time for some lunch and sorting out music before rehearsing at 3pm. We can’t check into the hotel until later in the afternoon, so I would recommend that we park together in one of the city’s long stay car parks (number 11 on the car park map, link to which is below) as that will be much cheaper than using the hotel’s car park (long stay car park is £4 for the day, hotel car park is £1 an hour!). All the city car parks have CCTV so should be safe to leave cars over a long period.
